To Commemorate 9/11, MING Studios Presents Finding the Michaels, A One-Woman Show Written and Performed by Former New Yorker, Cassie Angley, and Directed By Local Director, Janessa White

Finding the Michaels was produced twice Off-Broadway in New York City and developed in San Francisco at The Marsh, the premier venue for solo work in California.  “My intention with Finding the Michaels is to open up dialogue about how our lives have been irrevocably changed by the events and aftermath of that shattering day,” said playwright/performer Cassie Angley regarding 9/11. “How we’ve survived and thrived through it, and in some ways have emerged even stronger, livelier, and more united.”

MING Studios is an international contemporary art center and residency program, which opened its doors May of this year.  Their mission is to explore, exhibit and experience contemporary arts and culture.  They do this by bringing groundbreaking art and artists to Boise from across the globe.  MING supports local artists and is honored to be supporting Angley and White in bringing Finding the Michaels to Boise.  MING Studios is supported strictly by patron members in the City of Boise and beyond who believe in bringing international art to Idaho.
